Earth Federation

Earth Federation Movement

“A world government must be created which is able to solve the conflicts between nations by a judicial decision”
~ Albert Einstein

The Peace Pentagon supports Earth Federation – a global movement for democratic planetary governance. Without world government, it is impossible to end war, guarantee universal human rights, protect our precious planet, or ensure a protopian plan for future generations.

Due to the Security Council veto, the United Nations is incapable of representing the people of Earth. Therefore, the United Nations must either update its antiquated charter to eliminate the power monopoly held by just 5 nations (United States, Great Britian, France, Russia, and China), or the people of Earth must devise a new model for confederating nations-states.

Earth Constitution

Constitution for the Federation of Earth

The Earth Constitution was drafted by international legal scholars, academics, and world citizens over the span of 30 years. Published in 1991, this constitution represents a sound starting point for amending the United Nations Charter.

The Earth Constitution provides for: (i) a rotating 5-person, continental Presidium; (ii) House of Nations (nation-based); (iii) House of Peoples (population based); (iv) House of Counselors (selected from major universities); and (v) a binding World Judiciary. It gives the people of Earth an integrated governing system that is designed to deal effectively with the numerous planetary problems and existential threats of the 21st Century.

Since, 1982, there have been 16 Provisional World Parliaments. To learn more about Earth Federation visit: World Constitution and Parliament Association.

Global Artificial General Intelligence Constitution

The Global AGI Constitution is intended to supplement international law with binding AI standards. A team of AI experts and academics contributed to the evolution of this constitution, which is under review at the United Nations.

The AGI Constitution acknowledges that artificial intelligence may hold the key to solving the most complex challenges of our time. However, in the wrong hands or if pursued solely for financial or political gain, malicious applications of AI could lead to unthinkable harm at a catastrophic scale.

In support of the AGI Constitution, EARTHwise Global released a game called Elowyn: Quest of Time. The game simultaneously trains humans and AI to seek win-win solutions based on teamwork and shared moral values that enhance life on Mother Earth.
